In my previous post I showcased some creative free fonts combined with my favorite quotes from the TV show ‘Friends’. I also promised to upload the wallpaper of the design. To keep that promise I gave myself a break from work today to write this post and share the wallpaper with other ‘Friends’ fans from around de world.

It’s been more than a year since my last ‘Free Fonts and Quotes’ post and I thought it would be nice to bring that idea back. For today’s post I wanted to do something funny, full of color and unusual fonts. For that reason I decided to showcase this compilation with a selection of my favorite quotes from the TV show ‘Friends’. Let’s see if you can guess which character said each one of the quotes. You will find the answers are at the end of the post.

I designed a new wallpaper to encourage those who didn’t win this time to keep trying and don’t give up. But anyone can download it. The quote from Tim Rohn I used can be applied to many situations in life. To never give up doesn’t mean that you should wait around for something to happen, it means you should work to make it happen.

Two lucky winners will get an invite to join Dribbble. I suppose that you already know what Dribbble is but for those who still don’t it is an exclusive community of designers and illustrator. It works like any other social network where instead of tweets you post shots (400 x 300px images of the designs you are working on). If you enjoy your creative process Dribbble is an awesome place to show and improve your skills. If you are a designer or illustrator, trust me, you would love to be there.

Some of you may remember the “Learn Something Today” wallpaper I posted one year ago. Last weekend I felt like working on a new design for my desktop and I remembered an idea I had some time ago: to make a second version of that wallpaper. It occurred to me back then that a “Learn From The Mistakes” design would be the perfect companion for “Learn Something Today” but I never had enough time to sit down and work on that idea.

A few days ago I launched a new website for a client for whom I developed an eye-catching footer design. One day, while working on the HTML/CSS structure I had the idea of turning this footer into a wallpaper and talked with my client about this possibility. She totally loved the idea and gave me absolute freedom to work on it also allowing me to make a wallpaper download page for her website.
