Music + Wallpapers
Music plays a very important role in my daily life, as I guess it does in the life of all of you. The best way I get inspiration while I’m working is by listening to the music I like. There are also some occasions in which I need to design in total silence, but most of the times when I get to disconnect myself from the world and connect with the project I’m working on, music is playing in the background. In those moments my mind is concentrated in the design in which I’m working on and is usually when I get the best ideas.
That’s why today I decided to dedicate a wallpaper to tree of the songs that I play the most. It was a difficult decision because there are a lot of songs that I like but I based my decision paying attention to the lyrics and the message they share. Aerosmith, Keane and Duran Duran were my choices.
I usually use wallpapers myself that share the same concept. They have a few colors, a photo with similar colors and tones or dog wallpapers. I love dogs very much so I have a lot of them between my collection. I really don’t like to use wallpapers that use a lot of colors because they tend to distract me while I’m working. And my idea is to get the opposite effect.
That is why I chose one color for each of this designs and very little text. I made them in different sizes so that you can choose the one that best suits with your monitor resolution. Your comments and critics help me grow so feel free to write to me below. Hope you guys like them!
