“Learn Something Today” Wallpaper

I can’t keep still; I’m a very hyperactive girl. A friend of mine always says I’m like the Twistos woodpecker. I love being a web designer and if a new idea comes up to my mind, if it is not impossible, I will work hard to make that idea become real.

When I find some time, especially at weekends I work for a new personal project I came up with. Yes, I’m designing a new website for myself…another one!

Some nights ago I was checking some .com domains that we all designers love to have, but generally, they are all taken. Suddenly I typed a domain name of that kind and it was available! At first I thought that I had mistyped a letter but after checking it for three times I realized that I had to register it very fast. Luckily five minutes later the domain was mine. It’s a Spanish domain name, hopefully some day I will get the same lucky with an English one. After that, I found myself anxious for developing something new and different. It seems one wasn’t enough to keep updated so now I will have two.

Last night I finished the PSD design. I’m very happy with it. It’s nice when you can feel that way about something that took you a lot of work.

I decided to share a small part of the results here as a wallpaper. I made some minor changes and look for some nice phrase. I finally decided to use the “learn something today” resolution. If we are dedicated to learn something every day we will ensure ourselves to be always expanding our knowledge. We never stop learning. When I have time I use Google to search for tutorials to learn something new.

Here is my new desktop wallpaper. The sizes are:
1920 x 1200 resolution
1680 x 1050 resolution
1440 x 900 resolution
1280 x 1024 resolution
Feel free to choose the one that best suits your screen resolution.

Back to my new website project, I will soon invite you to visit me in my second online place. There will be a blog there too with new posts about web design.
